These figures show the gross revenue and taxes collected on the table games in each casino.<\/p>\n<p>A total of $40,897,115 had been generated by table games in the casinos in Pennsylvania. The $40M resulted in a total of $6,543,538 in tax revenue. Of that, 14 percent will go to the Commonwealth&#8217;s general fund, while 2 percent will go to local counties and municipalities.<\/p>\n<p>The revenue for October represents a 10.93 percent increase over the revenue generated in September.<\/p>\n<p>Harrah&#8217;s Chester Casino and Racetrack performed the best, bringing in $5.8 million in total revenue. This casino holds 99 tables, compared to the next top earner&#8217;s 57. Parx Casino generated $5,793,303, or just over $1 million per table.<\/p>\n<p>SugarHouse Casino, the newest gaming center in the state, managed to bring in a more than modest sum of $5,307,329. This new casino contributed a total of $106,152 in local taxes, while the state tax collected $743,066.<\/p>\n<p>Presque Isle Downs and Casino had performed the worst, bringing in only $1,555,387 in revenue.<\/p>\n<p>The heaviest earners are all centralized around Philadelphia.<\/p>\n<p>The incorporation of table games into the state&#8217;s casinos have made the gambling industry in Pennsylvania a top contender for entertainment dollars in the region.
