Credit Card Success Rates Rise Through Online Casinos

Monday, October 3rd, 2011

The whole reason for alternative deposit methods is because sometimes credit cards fail to make deposits, but this is a problem that is seemingly going away. Through any online casinos, credit card acceptance rates seem to be closer to the 90% point than it used to be.

With the rising popularity of online casinos, more payment processors are beginning to emerge in the industry. With better payment processors comes higher success rates, though this is still not guaranteed. Credit card companies still have a say in the failure rate, which could still cause a card to be rejected. These payments are occasionally deemed “high risk,” and thus credit card companies are not favorable toward these deposits.

One thing that has come of the higher success rates is a new problem when making deposits into an online casino – fees for using a credit card. Some online casinos have installed fees for making deposits with a credit card, though this is rarely higher than a 5% fee. Still, players will have to pay a small fee through some online casinos, which is generally offset by way of deposit bonuses.

With so many casino deposit methods on the market, players never need to actually worry about using a credit card if they do not want to, but credit cards are still the staple deposit method in the industry. Those who wish to fund an account by way of this method should have no problems actually doing so.

Online Sportsbooks Deposits Grow As NFL Season Pans Out

Monday, September 19th, 2011

There is no major sporting season that attracts more bettors than the NFL season, and funding an account has grown moderately difficult over the years. While the main e-wallets used through online sportsbooks have been eliminated, new ones have been incorporated.

For American gamblers, most sports betting deposits have become even less common than casino deposit methods. Credit cards, mostly VISA, are the only way most players can fund their account. There are a few alternatives, though they are few and far between.

In terms of alternative deposits, players will see that only a small handful of sportsbooks have deposit methods beyond credit cards. Bodog, BetOnline and 5Dimes are three of the few online sportsbooks that have incorporated alternative deposit methods into their service.

Through Bodog, players will have access to MyPayLinq as their alternative deposit method. This funding option provides easy transactions through credit card, e-checks and wire transfers. Simple transactions are made through this method.

BetOnline has only one alternative deposit method, but it is one of the most powerful deposit options around. BetOnline gives their players access to their service by way of electronic checks. E-checks are almost entirely gone from the online gambling industry, but BetOnline maintains this funding option as their own.

Playing with 5Dimes means players have access to MoneyLineWallet. This funding option provides their users with one of the easier sets of transactions, predicated on transfers similar to e-checks. MoneyLineWallet and 5Dimes have paired up to make for an overall easier betting experience.

While the number of available deposit methods has dwindled over the years, players will always find a new way to get money into their account through the various betting sites available.

PayPal Still Viable For US Gambling Deposits

Monday, September 12th, 2011

While PayPal is not open for direct deposits into US online casinos, it can still be used in an indirect fashion. PayPal’s function in the online gambling world is now based on it’s ability to purchase prepaid credit cards – a task we will briefly explain.

So you’ve got your PayPal account and you have $100 in it that you want to spend in your preferred online casino. Great, you might think – everyone accepts PayPal. Sadly, online gambling is exempt from this line of thought. With the advent of digital prepaid cards, players can actually still use their PayPal account to make payments into various online casinos.

Under the current state of affairs, there are few ways one can use PayPal to fund their account. With various online prepaid cards, players simply use PayPal to load a prepaid card and start making payments by way of this card. Those who decide to take this route will be able to use prepaid cards such as NetSpend and the like in order to fund their account, though there are truly many options available.

PayPal was once capable of making deposits into other e-wallets, but this time has passed. With some money transfer services still using PayPal, it may be easy enough to process a wire transfer rather than having to go through an alternative payment solution.

Until the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act is over turned, players in the United States will have to turn to e-wallets outside of PayPal. MoneyLineWallet casinos and MyPayLinq Casinos are currently the best options available for those in the United States.

USA Casinos Stand Strong In Spite Of Black Friday

Monday, September 5th, 2011

After poker’s Black Friday, the industry of online gambling had been shaken up to the point where many gambling sites had extricated from the market. Several poker rooms and a few sportsbooks closed their sites to American gamblers, but one type of gambling site remained strong – the online casinos.

When the hammer fell and the seizures occurred, some of the largest online gambling sites had stopped offering their services to players in the United States. This includes BetED, Poker Stars, and similar sites. With all of these changes in the industry, it was assumed that some of the gambling sites offering casino games would pull from the market.

The RTG software has remained steadfast in offering their services to American gamblers. They have not ceased accepting residents from the United States, which has kept them in the top position to offer their services to players in the largest gambling market in the world. With over 100 games, easy deposits and some of the highest payouts around, these casinos are definitely top choices for gaming.

Unfortunately, there was one loss in the industry. The Rival Casino software had ceased offering their services to residents of the United States. While Rival had not been the most popular type of software, their games had long been some of the most impressively designed. Players will now have to find a different outlet for their gaming, though there are options – specifically the RTG software.

Online casinos are some of the most unique types of gaming center, and we have found that there are a number of options still open to residents of the United States in spite of the changes in the gambling industry. We have found that the options are nearly limitless, and this is further augmented by the fact that there are a number of casino deposit methods making it easy enough for players to build an effective bankroll.

Click2Pay Registration Still Closed To U.S. Players

Monday, August 29th, 2011

While it is one of the more versatile funding methods, Click2Pay has undergone a number of complications, most notably found in the process of registration – the first step to using any electronic wallet. Click2Pay’s registration has been closed for many months, and it seems that no change will take place.

Potential users will see the various nations accepted through Click2Pay directly through their website as soon as it is visited. North American, European, South American and Asian nations are all entitled to join the Click2Pay service, but unfortunately there is a problem with registration. At this time, there are a few restrictions on who may use the service, as registration is currently closed.

Click2Pay’s registration periodically opens and closes as time goes on, but registration has been closed for some time. American gamblers in particular are not likely to be able to use Click2Pay, as this method is not currently open to residents of the U.S.A.

For players in the United States, there are various other e-wallets that can be used in place of Click2Pay. MyPayLinq and MoneyLineWallet can both be used by way of gamblers in the United States. These options make it simple enough to fund an account, and players will be able to easily access gambling if these options are used.

Electronic Checks On Downswing Through Online Casinos

Monday, August 22nd, 2011

The acceptance of electronic checks through online casinos is cyclical – they come and go, being accepted one day and thrown out the next. In spite being one of the most favorable deposit methods ever added into an online gambling site, e-checks tend to vanish just as quickly as they are added into a gambling site. Unfortunately, we are currently on a downswing.

E-checks are primarily used by American gamblers, as they make for rapid, inexpensive transactions directly from a bank account. The e-check method would allow players to transfer money directly from a checking account, depositing funds instantly and generally without fees.

Various explanations have been given surrounding the constant disappearance of e-checks, though we had gone to banking industry expert in order to find out the true reason e-checks are constantly disappearing through online gambling sites.

“The reason electronic funds transfers frequently disappear is because of inconsistent payment processors,” began our source, who preferred to remain anonymous. “The Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act is something all banks enforce, and EFTs are easier to monitor and subsequently regulate than credit or debit card transactions.”

E-check casinos, sportsbooks and poker rooms generally put e-checks up on the list of deposit methods for a few weeks, perhaps a few months at the most, before they disappear once more. The speed at which e-checks disappear can sometimes be detrimental, but most players have simply foregone waiting for electronic checks as a viable deposit method.

For now, players have to make EFT deposits by way of e-wallets, such as MoneyLineWallet and MyPayLinq.

MyPayLinq Emerging Through More Online Casinos

Monday, August 8th, 2011

More MyPayLinq casinos have begun to emerge, with various new ways for players to make simple deposits. Despite its inherent simplicity, MyPayLinq has not yet caught on to more than a handful of casinos, but this is a trend that is likely to change.

Currently, only a handful of different casinos have adopted MyPayLinq. These include the Club World Group, with Lucky Red, Aladdin’s Gold, Club World Casino, High Noon and Manhattan Slots Casino all offering MyPayLinq. There is also a few stragglers, most notably a handful of Top Game Casinos and even Bodog.

Being that the Club World Group and Bodog Casino are among the world’s most famous online casinos, it is expected that other gaming company brands will begin to adopt MyPayLinq as a funding method. Top Game’s small foothold on this most important of the casino deposit methods should not be ignored, as it is a testament to the true flexibility of this funding option.

MyPayLinq has begun to grow in popularity primarily because of its overall ease of use. With multiple funding methods built into this service, MyPayLinq effectively combines credit cards, wire transfers and e-checks available through the MyPayLinq service.

With even sportsbooks and poker rooms beginning to contemplate the addition of MyPayLinq, there are plenty of gambling options open to those who wish to use MyPayLinq as a funding option. Sign up is easy enough, there are no failed deposits, and fees are incredibly low.

Prepaid Cards Become More Important As E-wallets Are Lacking

Monday, August 1st, 2011

Many online casinos have ceased accepting deposit methods outside of credit cards, effectively forcing some players to turn to a method of deposit that may have been previously ignored – prepaid cards. The popularity of prepaid cards has risen substantially due to the lack of accepted e-wallets, which has brought many users to prepaid cards in order to circumvent failed deposits.

Prepaid cards cover a variety of individual options, generally based on the fact that there are many types of card. One could visit a handful of stores, including Wal-Marts, Walgreens and even gas stations, in order to find these prepaid cards. Though inherently functional, not all of these cards work for online gambling transactions.

In order to gamble online with prepaid cards casinos, players have to make sure that their particular cards are capable of functioning with international transactions. Most prepaid VISA and MasterCards are capable, but players must ensure that their cards are internationally viable if they are going to be used for gambling purposes. Failure to do so could result in a card that is going to end up being spent on other goods and services that could have been paid for with a bank issued card or cash, which is essentially a waste of fees.

Greendot, NetSpend and WebMoney are several examples of prepaid cards capable of being used internationally. The first is available through Wal-Mart and many other stores, while the latter two are generally purchased online. Each card has it’s own terms, conditions and fees, but all function just like a standard credit card.

Since prepaid cards function in the same way that credit cards function, players only need to enter the numbers on the front of the card. Payments are generally made instantly, these cards carry generally low fees, and security is guaranteed due to the inherent anonymity of prepaid cards on whole

MoneyLineWallet Continuing To Gain Acceptance With Online Casinos

Monday, July 25th, 2011

July 25th, 2011 – by Glen Farmer

While MoneyLineWallet is still a relatively new deposit method, which means that not many casinos have yet to start using this service. Though few casinos have begun to use it, the number is rising regularly. Having come to monitor this service extensively, we have found that it is being inducted as a viable deposit method with many online casinos.

Few e-wallets exist for American gamblers, and this has made it somewhat difficult for many players to deposit, especially those with a limited number of credit cards. MoneyLineWallet has made funding their service, and subsequently your casino’s account, as easy as possible. This makes them one of the preferred casino deposit methods.

MoneyLineWallet, for those are still unaware, functions by simply allowing players to transfer money from a checking account into the gambling account. Like eWalletXpress before it, MoneyLineWallet is growing into one of the more popular funding methods.

In order to insulate itself from potential problems, MoneyLineWallet has kept their service partially shut off from most players by requiring something of an invitation to join. The invitations are open to anyone, however, by way of the cashier of the gaming site that accepts MoneyLineWallet. A quick sign up process will give immediate access, and this will open up their service to everyone who would wish.

UseMyWallet, eWalletXpress Shut Down, Replaced By MoneyLineWallet, MyPayLinq

Monday, July 4th, 2011

July 4th, 2011 – by Glen Farmer

Two of the biggest deposit methods in the online gambling industry have gone the way of the Dodo bird, figuratively speaking. These deposit methods have become the latest victims in the Department of Justice’s attack on the online gambling industry. Both UseMyWallet and eWalletXpress have been forced off the market, and players have had to deal with the unintended consequences of this move by the government.

In the early months of 2011, players had found that eWalletXpress was no longer available through the cashier of many gambling sites. Players had been left to wonder until news had broke that eWalletXpress was “temporarily halting operations.” It was later determined that the company had ceased accepting American gamblers due to the Department of Justice beginning to seize their bank accounts. Though fear had spread through the community, eWalletXpress assured their users that they would soon be paid back any money that was owed to them.

UseMyWallet had only begun to shut their doors when it came to the “Black Friday” of online poker. The hammer had fallen on the poker industry, and UseMyWallet/Quicktender account holders had been given an e-mail stating that operations of this service would soon cease. Those who use this service had been warned that their accounts would soon be frozen, and that payouts were currently locked. Sadly, most players were incapable of actually processing any transactions out of their Quicktender/UseMyWallet account. In some cases, tens of thousands of dollars had been lost due “further developments.” Users are still waiting for confirmation over whether or not they would receive their money, but things are not looking positive right now.

Despite these deposit methods being shut down, there are still two casino deposit methods that have been brought to light. These deposit methods are MoneyLineWallet and MyPayLinq. Both have similarities and differences to the deposit methods that have ceased operating, but they are unique in their own regards. The services are not likely to suffer from any of the complications that have fallen on the aforementioned deposit methods, making them safe and viable alternatives to funding your account solely with a credit card.

MoneyLineWallet is an invitation only deposit method, just as UseMyWallet once was. Instead of having to meet certain requirements and request an invitation from the gambling site, you will instead have to visit the cashier of the gaming site that accepts this method and you will find a link to the sign up page of MoneyLineWallet. Enter the required information and you will be invited to begin using this method as your own.

MyPayLinq is more like eWalletXpress than any of the other e-wallets out there. MyPayLinq allows their users to make payments through a variety of funding options, including e-checks, wire transfers, and credit cards. This multi-purpose deposit method is being regarded as one of the best that has ever been found in the gambling site, making it a top recommendation for all users.

With these two new deposit methods, the loss of UseMyWallet and eWalletXpress has been absorbed without too much trouble. While some players have lost their money and their deposit methods, others had been widely unaffected by the closure of these deposit methods. Their replacements have already been found, and it seems that there is no trouble using either of these new methods to make easy deposits into online casinos.
